Mop up duty when the game is already over.  Sounds to me like he's still getting a feel for the offense.

many of the true freshman didn't see much, if any, action in the first week last year vs. Illinois State.  Then they were all over the field the following week.

I'm sure Pierce and Lamark will start working in this week.  They both have more ability in their thumb than Gonzo.  But Gonzo does little things that help us win like blocking.  Just wish he could catch a freakin' pass.  That drop he had along the sideline on the 2nd drive thwarted what could have been a FG drive.

None of us on this board would have caught that pass.  He caught it it just happend to hit the ground and if he would have caught it we all would of been talking about how great he is.  He did have 4 rec for 44 yards against the best defense we will face all year if that is his worst game the ill be happy.

I was more pissed about Jordy not getting into the endzone on the opening drive than Gonzo's miss.  XBOX has got to find a way to make one guy miss or beat him to the pylon.

He SHOULD be getting reps on the scout team where he belongs.  May be good someday, but thinking he'll really contribute as a frosh is fracking nuts.

wtf?

Sorry let me rephrase that.  The ball never left his hands it was ruled incomplete because it was trapped on the ground, and had the catch been ruled complete it would have been for a first down and given him 20 more yards on his receiving total.  Then the talk would have been how he saved the drive with his diving catch with a defender all over him not how he should not be on the field.

Josh Feeman, Leon Patton, Jeron Mastrud, Jousha Moore  yeah none of them contributed as a Frosh

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
Will we see Lamark?  Yep.  Look for #7 on the sidelines.
