I agree with the thought behind this post. I'm not going to say we are going to win at NU though.  But its hard to deny that we should have a realistic shot in every game this year, especially after seeing what Texas did against N. Arkansas(?).

The team looked confident, competitive, and talented (but raw).  something we have been missing the majority of the past 3 seasons.

Not really. This loss hurts us in no way in terms of conference/bowl/etc... Just hurts tonight.

This will help us the rest of the year and beyond because we have a young team.

But for real, we're going to use you guys.  :D

its not like we were going to play for the NC anyway...and if we put it together making an 11 strait win run (doubtful) or 10-1 (possible) run, and end up losing the Big 12 Championship game, or even possibly losing to NU and not making it, you can still make a case for us going to the BCS

You know, we said this last year after the Toledo game.  You know, a team that actually has a pulse on offense.

ohhhhh is this a Bob Huggins kind of prediction because that sure as hell worked out great for you last season.  DESTROY= 52-7  You=  0-1

ok douche. congrats on beating central michigan. i know u are not used to beating teams like that. but even we killed north texas in 2005.  i would take our showing at auburn over ur great showing over a mac team with a new coach anyday. had ku gone into auburn u guys would prolly not have scored heck u might not have even gotten a first down.  but again ku has arrived. just like they arrived vs. south florida last year. how did toledo go again last year. ur morals victories are against toledo ours are against auburn. that is the difference in our programs.

p.s. ur a douchebag and i am kinda of drunk so sorry if not all of it makes sence.   :ksu:   :ksu:   :ksu:

hate to break it to you cats fans, but you just lost to a very medicore eam.  Auburn lost a ton since last year and in just the past few weeks to suspension and injury.  you think your going to bring that sad, pathetic offense into lincoln and do better?  freeman had 32 completions and most of them were little crap dump offs designed to do nothing but help his stats, under 5 yards per reception.  that is sad.

Congrats on keeping it close againt Auburn. If you're honest with yourselves though, a major part of that was that Auburn had one of the worst offenses I've ever seen a college football team run. Thinking that you'll come into Lincoln and win is amusing. Nebraska is a far superior team.

KSU fans are too funny.  Much like Misery Tiger fans, they would claim a morale victory after playing a team that is over-hyped.

The 2 previous Nebraska fans were right on the money.  KSU kept it close against a not-so-good Auburn team.  This is not the Tigers of the past couple of years.  Their offense was bad but their run game was the worst I have ever seen from a top-tier team.  But if KSU fans consider this a morale victory, everybody should have goals.

As for KSU fan calling out NU and ku fan, KSU fans should be careful what they say.  Unless this thread is deleted by an admin, these comments will come back and bite you in the ass later this season.  Just like it did last season.

Have fun in your little world KSU fan, it will soon come crashing down on your sorry asses.  Take care, losers.

PS: is it me, or did coach Prince double his size in the off-season.  That's what he gets for sharing the buffet w/ Big Fatty Mangino.

You'll also see one of my predictions was that KSU would play a close game against Auburn and then their fans would start mouthing off about being a BCS team. LOL so predictable.

"Neither team has an offense."

-Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville at halftime of Auburn/KSU game.

If you think KSU's offense will look the same when we roll into lincoln (), I feel sorry for you.  Sure we weren't pretty at times, but Freeman and the line showed improvement, and there is plenty of reason to believe it can get better.

This is still a young team thats coming together and making some strides.

Like I said, I hope your guys buckle up their chinstraps when they visit Lincoln. We eat 3-4 defenses for breakfast. Hopefully your QB is still standing by the time November rolls around.

Just like we arrived against KSUCK? 39-24?   Your football program is back where it belongs, underneath ku.

all right u have to be a sock cuz the score last year was 39-20 so maybe u should get that right first of all. and congrats on winning ur super bowl last year. and i would say u havent passed us til u beat us in manhattan. so when that happens u can say u are the premier football school in the state. til then shut the hell up.

NU fans are funny.

No mention of Keller at all.  Lots of downplaying Auburn.

All this game showed is that NU's deciding to play football in the second half is in no way indicative of a team that can play a complete 60 minutes.  KSU showed that in the first game.   I feel sorry for NU fans when reality comes to town (and KSU.)

At least it's going to be a hell of a ride.

Nevada LB Jerome Johnson:

"That's the best offensive line I've ever played against," Johnson said. "And that's the only offensive line that stays on their blocks the whole time. They're very aggressive. I'm very aggressive, but I just couldn't get off (the blocks)."

Good to hear since those Boise State OL's are pretty good in their own right.
