In a game that featured Ohio State commit, J.B. Shugarts, and UCLA commit, Aundre Dean, the player of the game was "2-star" DB Trent Hunter from Katy High.Dean never really got untracked due to some poor blocking, but still ended up with a very hard-earned 153 yards on 24 carries. Hunter, on the other hand, was playing possessed.Hunter took the opening kickoff 1 yard deep in the endzone and took it to the house...not a bad way to start the season. He later had a 45 yard punt return, blocked a FG, forced a fumble, nearly made a great pick, and made several great tackles one-on-one on Klein's backs. He was everywhere and was instrumental in Katy holding Klein to just 65 yards of total offense.I've been watching Trent since he was a sophomore...y'all got a good one, for sure.
I always had Hunter ranked as a 5 star, I'm so smart.
