I listen to music all day at work, and I have a hard time justifying spending $20 (or more) on headphones.

Of course, you are very thrifty.

the bose reg. headphones are fantastic.

i kept them and sent the others back. earbuds just arent for me.

the sennhiesers were nice though.

im not trying for the snob effect..i just want to drown out the f'n annoying co wokders.

You're talking about "triport" right?

yeah. but they call both the big ones and the buds tri port. the ones i pictured on top...are the best. cover the whole hear...and deliver a great mix of high's and lows. i only got them as a gift..no way i'd spend that much cheddar.

I should add that these treads are really annoying when people only post pictures of the headphones they're interested in.

It's usually a pain in the ass to find what you're showing.
You're welcome.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Yours were actually easy to find.  But you actually went through more work yourself to post the pic than you would if you'd just given a link.

Not very efficient.

Bose is extremely overpriced/overrated. Sennhiesers are the brand to get.

+1 - Get some HD 650s, they're probably the best headphones on the planet and you can find 'em for three bills online.  Don't forget to thank me later.   :eyeseeyou:

anyone have the xtrememac fs1?  pretty good reviews.  the inside of my ears are shaped differently, so regular earbuds suck, and these are the same design as the marshamallows.

These are the best bang-for-buck you will find in in ear phones.

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones-headsets/shure-se110-sound-isolating/4505-6468_7-32594477.html?tag=nefdprod.rev

man, that's pretty expensive though.

Yes, relative to what you are looking for it is.  It is probably the very least you can pay for a "quality" headphone.  I also have the jvc marshmellows and they are good for what you are looking for.  I have never heard of the ones you linked so I can't comment on them.  You family is loaded right?  Have them get you some good ones to go along with your new TV.

I got them for $50. Great headphones. By far the most comfortable I've had.

Yes, all will hook to PC/laptop via headphone jack.

don't you have opinions on headphones and other stuff like that?  that was the important part of the post.

- the jury is out -

marshmallow's are pretty sweet.  it pretty much cancels out outside noise too.  sound quality is meh i assume (probably compared to other canalphones), but anything sounds good when it's pressed against your eardrum.  good stuff saul, i like jews better now FWIW.

zion by lauryn hill sounds great.

I got a pair of these $50 Sony earbuds.  The cord's a little funky and some folks might not like it, but I really like the sound quality I get out of them, especially for the price.

Really good deal (even by Rusty standards):

Sennheiser CX300 for $29.99 (no s/h or tax)

Sennheiser CX300

Sennheiser $15 rebate (if you mail in an old/broke set of phones, I know, pain in the ass - also PDF)

$15 Rebate

really good in ear phones for $15  :jammin:

I think they do look cool.  Usually just more bulky to carry around, right?  Am I thinking of the right "wrap around" type?
