I listen to music all day at work, and I have a hard time justifying spending $20 (or more) on headphones.

the bose reg. headphones are fantastic.

i kept them and sent the others back. earbuds just arent for me.

the sennhiesers were nice though.

yeah. but they call both the big ones and the buds tri port. the ones i pictured on top...are the best. cover the whole hear...and deliver a great mix of high's and lows. i only got them as a gift..no way i'd spend that much cheddar.

I should add that these treads are really annoying when people only post pictures of the headphones they're interested in.

Yours were actually easy to find.  But you actually went through more work yourself to post the pic than you would if you'd just given a link.

Bose is extremely overpriced/overrated. Sennhiesers are the brand to get.

+1 - Get some HD 650s, they're probably the best headphones on the planet and you can find 'em for three bills online.  Don't forget to thank me later.

anyone have the xtrememac fs1?  pretty good reviews.  the inside of my ears are shaped differently, so regular earbuds suck, and these are the same design as the marshamallows.

Yes, relative to what you are looking for it is.  It is probably the very least you can pay for a "quality" headphone.  I also have the jvc marshmellows and they are good for what you are looking for.  I have never heard of the ones you linked so I can't comment on them.  You family is loaded right?  Have them get you some good ones to go along with your new TV.

marshmallow's are pretty sweet.  it pretty much cancels out outside noise too.  sound quality is meh i assume (probably compared to other canalphones), but anything sounds good when it's pressed against your eardrum.  good stuff saul, i like jews better now FWIW.
