From Bearcatnews.com

05/02/06: "I've always wanted to play for Coach Huggins, ever since I moved to Cincinnati," Walker said. "I like his coaching staff and the way he gets the most out of his players. They are in the running too." (snip) "I promised my mom that I would go to college and get a degree and be something in life. That's pretty much the only option." - ScoutHoops.com

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

You've also gotta love reading that in conjuction with re-reading the "if I do it, he'll do it" quote from Beasly directly below in light of all the recent print on Beasley to KSU.

Hmmm...I do wonder what the rest of the article says.

Talks about the amount of mail he gets, his recent play in games, and the shoe issue.  Just filler stuff.

 :jerkoff:
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Good stuff.

Did anyone else hear Fescoe on BP this morning making a big deal out of the Cincy Enquirer quote from Mayo?  He was saying "I don't believe this!  I've been ASSURED that these two players were going to Kansas State!"  Last week, Fescoe jumped all over whichever football player that was that got arrested, repeatedly saying "This is very, very bad news for K-State.  Not good news for K-State."

It's pretty obvious that he's sore because of KKietz's last couple of weeks of focusing on the NCAA allegations against ku.

Fescoe has been the poster boy of Squawk retardedness, and they gave him a radio show to spread the word.   Amazing.

You can't be racist and like basketball.
God I hope Walker flies under the radar right into Hugg's outstretched arms.

While this can change, I like his interests:

School                 Interest Level
Kansas State              High
Cincinnati                   Med
Connecticut               Med
Florida A&M                Med
Syracuse                    Med
West Virginia              Med
Ohio State              No Interest

I hope he starts from the bottom as he "eliminates" programs in August.
