However, K-State backers will collect the cash at the betting windows.
The 'Cats have enuff team speed to give the Tiggers fits offensively and with our new 3-4 defensive scheme begging them to do what they want to do anyway, which is run the football, the game will be shortened into a low scoring defensive tussle.
They are NASTY on defense, so barring a lucky special teams play or two, and possibly a trick play or two getting us into scoring position, we won't be doing much scoring. However, neither will they. The Tiggers are breaking in FOUR new, unproven and less talented OL starters. So, yards will be at a premium.
I truly can't see either team getting to 24 points in this one, so suffice it to say... 13.5 is WAY too big of an offering in this tilt. Take the points, and if you have a large sack of stones.... play the under 44.5 as well.
I'm calling a K-State loss in the neighborhood of 20-10 or so...
On Sept. 2, I'll cash a big ticket on U44.5 and a medium ticket on KSU +14 (buy the hook!!)
