Nah, I think it's more of a side effect of the cult mentality. Not real prevalent...some Wrangler owners accept other Jeep types into The Family...others consider them impostors. Which are you?

Yeah, as of April.  I guess maybe I forgot to update everyone on that...

I was already kind of a Jeep cousin (but not on the Wrangler side).  My mom used to drive a Cherokee Laredo and now she's in a 2004 Grand Cherokee Limited.  My gf used to drive a Cherokee Sport and now she's in a 2006 Grand Cherokee Limited.  There seems to be some sort of arms race going on there.

Anyway, I signed on once they came up with something that got better than 20 mpg and didn't look like the Compass.

If you've seen how they redesigned the Liberty for next year, it looks a lot closer to the Patriot, so basically you're going to be able to get the Commander now in small, medium, and large.
