    Hey, basketball!!!
J-Mart, how tall is Joseph Houlik? You think he has a chance to make a contribution to the team in the next couple of years at WR?

J-Mart- Why did you immediately go to the race card when describing Watts' and Chandler's relationship?  Seems kind of odd that you would pull that angle out of the blue...

He points it out bc well, its true. If you saw Watts on the street with no pads or anything, would you think he is an AA safety? I know i wouldnt.....

It was based more on how Chandler said it. He was legitimately surprised at how good Watts is, which I found strange considering we've all seen him in action the past couple of years. Quick question - how many white defensive backs can you name in big-time college football? Just an observation.

Didn't Nebraska have a couple of them a few years ago?  White people all look the same to me, so this one is a toughy.

Jon McGraw was particularly white.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Hmm...Eric Weddle from Utah was drafted pretty high last year, Utah also had a kid named Morgan Scalley a couple years back.  Mitch Meeussen (sp?) from Oregon State also fits in that category as well.  It's not that hard to come up with names.  Noo googling here, otherwise I would have looked up how to spell Meeussen.

    Gettin' angried up!!!
I guess my point is: if I wrote in an article that a certain player looked to be a big time prospect because he was, well,  black that it would considered a racist comment.  Yet J Mart can insinuate that it's hard to believe that Watts is a talented DB because he is white.  Anybody care to look up the word prejudice in the dictionary for me?  How about this J Mart:  I was surprised to find out that you can read and write, not because you are black, but because I was busy at work last year and wasn't able to read your articles.  Does that offend you?  And saying that the reson you wrote that is because of the way Chandler spoke of Watts is either insinuating that Chandler is biased, or just a way of passing the buck and throwing Gary under the bus.

When did this board become PC?

Jeffrey openly admitted his belief that very few white men are good defensive backs.  Maybe there's a support group out there for him.  Let's work together on this, friends.

It's not political correctness.  It's defensiveness about the quality of our players.  And the defensiveness only comes about because people know the truth of the matter regarding the issue they are discussing.
