EDIT:  I think he may be going for the, "I'm making fun of the proto-typical LA guy" thing...or he's just an a-hole..I can't really tell.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

that dude is a douchebag. that wasn't so much of an attack on nebraska as it was the whole midwest. in all honesty, i hate, so much more, the west coast douchebags that ramble on about how they live in a cultured and refined city like L.A. The biggest cvnt bags on earth eat breathe and rape there. &@#% that crap.

Whatever, I laughed.   Also found it interesting that someone in the media forgot to refer to Nubbs as the greatest fans in the world.

Yeah, the "fat ass" thing was pretty much right on target.

Ya, but everything he said there could have also been said about us. I think there are several more ways to attack Nebraska than he did. He took a severely easy, and over done, route.

that article would extremely funny if it was written by someone from the Wichita Eagle.

I did find it amusing that he mocks people who live for sports, considering that he's a sports journalist.

QFT.  J-Mart missed the boat.

Again.

that article almost made me want to cheer for NU.

I had to remind myself after reading that article that most USC fans are pretty good people.

sounds like a narrow minded prick, even if it was about Nebraska, bashing them is great, but sweeping generalizations about the state and the midwest as a whole is just dumb.  But he was probably coked up and in bed with Paris breathing that smog tinged air and worring about not getting shot by the gangs or cameras, like all other californians, while writting that piece.

Those were the same kinds of things Rome was saying the entire week before USC came to play in Manhattan...then we punked them and he mentioned the game for about a minute the following Monday.

I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !
