I don't know.  I just liked it.  I haven't gotten anything but beef.  Sauce is sweeter than Gates.  Beans are OK.

I guess I like it more than anything because it's what i'm used to, i've been going there for years.  I like slipping around on the greasy floor and getting "FRIES?!??!" or "WHATCHU DRINKIN?!" yelled at me.  Beef and fry or burnt ends

Some BBQ factoids:
I ate at Famous Daves.  It really did not taste bad, as much as I wanted it to.  That doesn't mean it was good or compared to KC BBQ. But it wasn't bad.

AB's still cooks their fries in lard.  LOLLING @ transfat.

Zarda is beyond terrible.  No further comment needed.

Ok Joe's recently upped the price of their fries from $1.75 to $3.00, now they're labeled as "The Best Fries In KC"    too much salt imo.  I hear their ribs are the best in town but haven't tried them.  I usually go with a jumbo pulled pork or a zman.

Rosedale is one that I need to revisit. It's been years since I ate there and don't believe my palate had quite matured to the level of master bbq taster like it has now.

OK Joes fries are not very good, IMO.

Another I forgot to mention - Haywards. IT SUCKS, but it used to be good.
