I for one, have been known to be a fan of Sublime and can occasionally bring myself to listen to 311. However, when you just randomly bash a band someone declares good (when you've probably never even listened to them with an open mind), I will probably feel the need to point out how a lot of people don't agree with your music tastes (not that it should matter to you at all).

You are right about me not listening to it w/ an open mind. I like stoner music, ala 311, sublime and I have not listened to Beck while being blazed. I will try that and come back to you w/ my new opinion on them.
