We should get into deep, intelligent thought. So profound that mere muggles (haha), like PC and Ew (you're out of the group, btw), cannot grasp the enthralling words that we speak of.

You guys lost me at "Harry Potter"...I've never read one of his books nor have I seen any of his movies.  I really know nothing about him or his crew.

Easily the best book, tied everything together from the entire series.  Very sad to see it end.  She didn't leave it open for any more books.

I'm sad that there never was a vivid love scene between Hermione and Ron. I can imagine now, how much money someone would make off of a porn spoof on that book.

You just don't possess the intelligence that it takes to understand what J.K. is trying to say to her readers. The woman is a genius, really. If you don't believe me then just look at the 10 million dollar checks she's getting.

Darn it. I just started today. No porn leaves me no ambition to finish it. Just kidding.

There's a difference between earning your money and having it given to her. Mr. Hilton is a pretty smart man.

J.K. Rowling (or whatever self-made millionaire you decide upon) makes her millions because she's talented and she works hard. Paris Hilton makes her millions because she was born. That's it. If her father wasn't who he is, nobody would give two craps about her.

not disagreeing, only the point that you were saying "look how much money she is making to prove she was a genius" . Very few people who earn lots of money fall into that genius category.  See - Michael Vick, Mike Tyson, Tom Cruise, Paris, etc...   do we have a picture drawing emoticon?  :photoshop:

Actually she did.  I just finished it a few minutes ago.

Go re-read the last part with Harry talking to Albus Severus and him checking his scar one more time.  Now tell me that isn't an opening for another dark lord.

I don't want her to write another one. It would turn into a Land Before Time-like series then and nobody would care eventually.

And what does it say about his scar right after that? No, the Harry Potter series is done. However, there would probably be great demand for a James Potter "prequel" series, so to speak, focusing on James, Sirius, Lupin, Lily, Snape, etc. I wouldn't like it if she did that, but it would probably be a hit as well.

Rowling is an excellent writer, no question.

Or she could write a series about Harry's kid. I don't think she will write anymore Harry Potter books. I could see her coming out with a different story completely unrelated to Harry Potter though. Not that she would need to, she's a billionaire (corrected from my earlier statement of her being a measly millionaire).
