It's a good thing we don't have Nubb's OL class...they go bust a lot as highly ranked OL.  And no way we could have a good offense in the future w/ bums like Burris, Caprioglio, and Douglas committed.  :jerkoff:

I took the top 30 BCS conference only offenses in "total offense" in '06 and checked what their rivals star ranking was coming out of "HIGH SCHOOL" (as in not JC if they signed out of JC). I classified the "NR" and "Not in database" in w/ the two stars.

the only one spinning is you.  How many times have we heard some red turd over here tell us about their OL class?

We already know about defense and special teams...see "Is Prince's first year artificial" thread for more on that.

We're talking offense in this thread and, more specifically, the offensive line.  Get it yet?

And FYI, when you say "to bad"...it's actually "too".

Thanks for your concern.

Too bad you keep neglecting the fact that Callahan is one of the top 5 OL coaches in all of football and Wagner has a history of taking unheralded players and turning them into 1st round NFL draft picks. I'm sure you'll remember Snyder saying Wagner's Fresno State OL gave Kansas State the worst physical beating he ever got at Kansas State. You guys better find some elite DL and in a hurry. Or you're about to get steamrolled. Gabe Crews ain't gonna cut it against Nebraska. The dude will be digging himself out of the turf with a shovel.

Sticky this please.  I never had any expectations for crews, but thanks to this husker he'll become something yet.

BTW, its a good thing we haven't recruited ALL 4 and 5 star OL. I mean your point is illustrated Hatter-Keith Williams=3 star; Jacob Hickman=3 star; Marcel Jones=3 star; Matt Slauson=0 star

All future NFL players  :hookem:

Interesting. I see Nebraska in the list...and even Kansas....but where's Kansas State? I love the fact that you morons don't even bother comparing Nebraska and K-State most of the time, but resort to comparing Nebraska to teams like USC, Florida, etc. It's a good indicator that you secretly realize that you're not even competitive with Nebraska any more.

Second, this is the same offensive line for the most part that steamrolled you idiots, at home in Manhattan last year. If our O-Line was that bad, then how miserable was your front seven?

Third, have you seen the class we have this year? Our O-Line recruits probably have as many stars as your entire recruiting class.

It's amusing how often I can tune into what people are posting here and find these envy-laden threads by the "homosexual purple" clad idiots. Here's an idea...when you guys are actually of the caliber that anyone even notices you, and can manage to compete with Nebraska, then post about us. Doing so now is just pathetic.

You're a bug on our windshield.

LOL at Nubbies.

Look at the numbers please.  They don't lie.

Why was KSU not on that list?  I don't know...why was NU not on that list in Callahan's first year?  Get it yet?  First year...new QB, new everything.  Thanks for making common sense out of this.

Again, look at the numbers please.

LOL at Nubb OL "steamrolling" our defense in Manhattan last year.  Yep..one good run(Lucky) was produced by the OL.  Taylor boot and BJax great effort on a 48 yarder..nothing to do w/ an OL that was dominated.  Other 40 runs produced 78 yards...Taylor sacked 4 times and harrassed every time he dropped back to pass.

Wagner...lol.  Everybody dominated that defense in '04.

Are you ever going to address the inconsistencies of the statements where you tell us how great NU's O-Line will be and how great your recruiting classes are when the facts do not support your case?   You get three wins against KSU this decade and you're being quite uppity.   Did you not forget the three beatings in a row that made Nebraska look like K-State circa 1985?

You have about a seven year period in the last hundred of so that you were semi-relevant. Even in that limited timespan, you were never even seriously in the National Championship picture. For most of your history, you've been the consensus choice as the worst team in the history of Division I college football. In the meantime, Nebraska is a powerhouse, and one of the top 5 or 10 programs in the history of college football. based on those facts, who's being "uppity."

You say much of Nebraska's glory is in the past. I say K-State even being in the same discussion with us is in the past. The facts are these...we have a better and more talented team. We have better and more highly ranked recruits coming in every year. The gap between Nebraska and K-State is growing, not shrinking. Look at your last couple of recruiting classes, and it just reinforces the point.

K-State is a lot closer to bottom of the division than the top.

Ummm, excuse me??? Does semi-relevant equal 6/7 11 win seasons??? That feat has only been accomplished by three university's in the history of college football.

Yep, semi-relevent.

Semi-relevant means some success, but never seriously in the National Championship picture.

Wow....that's a huge accomplishment.  How many National Championships do you have? How many conference championships? When you sit and stare at an empty and dusty trophy case, stringing together some 11-win seasons must seem like a big deal.

Just in case you're wondering what a National Championship trophy looks like, feel free to check them out:

What does any of that have to do with TheManhatter's facts?   Evasion back to NC's does nothing to help your ability to discuss football, which is becoming clear you have no ability to do so.

That was obviously in response to KSUCats' post about how proud he was about stringing together a few 11 win seasons. try to follow along.

Also, was that statement even written in English?

I'm not a fair weather fan. I root for Creighton's basketball team and Nebraska's basketball and football teams. If Creighton plays Nebraska, as an alum, I root for Creighton.

The irony is that you morons keep insisting that Nebraska is done-for and will never again be an elite team, and then accuse me of being a fair-weather fan. How is it possible for me to be a fair-weather fan if Nebraska is as bad as you insist?

Apparently logic isn't covered in any of the classes required for a K-State degree.
