Back to gang tackling...do they pile on almost every play?  Cause that would be sweet.

Seriously, little things like that.  Was watching a trailer, which had a fumble.  Does EA realize how sweet it would be, after every fumble, for the team on defense to be jumping up and down, waving "first down", regardless of whether or not they have the ball?  It wasn't like this in the trailer.  Seriously, if EA included little crap like that, I wouldn't just be considering to buy a 360 + the game, I would already have bought it.

Agree 100%. We're all college football fans. The game will be fun to play; that's a given. It's the little touches that could put the game over the top.

What else do you think they need?  It seems like they covered everything, just need more reactions and personality from the players.

I didn't have the last version so it might be fixed, but do players still magically go through other players or the ref?  Is the ball still magnetized to a receiver's hands?  Do receivers still slide to the ball sometimes?

I haven't had one since '05, so I don't know. As far as what they need, you said it: personality. The more little college touches they add to the game, the better. I don't have good specific answers for you that come to mind at the moment.

There's still some clipping that occurs between player models. I'm not sure that will ever go away. I played two quick games (2 min quarters in the demo), and saw no sliding catches (threw too many INT's). I saw a few nice gang tackles. Blocking and tackle animation is superb.

How about the smell of tailgating and that crisp air?  Or they could just put in a couple of cut movies of fans pissing on the opposing fans car.

Panning shots of realistically modeled parking lots during pregame would be awesome.

Realistically modeled USC song girls would be worth the $60 by themselves.

Recruiting desperately needed revamped. In 08 I hope all 5 star wide recievers don't run a 4.16 forty and have 40+ inch verticals. Also, I'd like some of the highly touted running backs to be below 5' 9" and when you switch their positions they don't become terrible.

I played the demo last night and wasn't blown away. The gameplay seemed real choppy to me, and very sped up.

And what's with the player models not having necks? They all look like hunched over gorillas.

It's nice to see it still has the bug where when you turn the ball over, the next play selection screen defaults to special teams.

Did you see how bad they were last year?  They actually resemble real players now.  Last year, everybody was on roids.

MS has been saying the 360 will drop soon, but not at E3. Most people are thinking that they're going to wait for their new revisions to come out. That way, they can say, they fixed the problem and back up their product. Should be a month or so- or right after you buy one.

News has also come out about the PS3's "price drop."  They're saying that Sony dropped the price of the 60 GB version to $500 and introduced the 80 GB at $600. This isn't all. Sony is now reporting it's just to move the stock of the 60 GB PS3 as it will be discontinued. So really, there is no price drop.

I can't believe they only have dark visors.  WTF is Patton, Johnson, Gonzo, and half our defense going to wear?
