Tennis: WTF

Kind of a difficult game.  My wife and I played last night, and I've never really played before.  The first time I "served" I hit it out of the courts.  I eventually figured out not to hit it so hard.  The most strenous part of the game is chasing the ball around the court after you hit it incorrectly, like off the side of your racket.

hahaha. oh man. saul, if you live in manhattan i would be happy to give you guys lessons if you would like, but yeah tennis is one of the most incredible skill games in the world. people don't realize how talented professional tennis players are.

i have been teaching at cottonwood for the past 3 years, and taught at crestview tennis club a year before that.

i was offered a couple schollys to naia and divi II but didn't want to play it in college because it would lead to nowhere.

my highschool team won state two years in a row (the second year we tied in points but the actual title was given to topeka hayden because they had more entrants and i refuse to let that stand)

also, i will be winning the intramurals tournament this year. that crap is so mine.

although i dare you to stand on the other side of the net and try and hit my serve back to me. and i can barely top 105 mph. imagine the pro's on average at 120 mph first and the second around 100 mph. not to mention every forehand reaches about 80mph or more. tennis is a mans version of baseball. this is why we dominate at softball.

thats a good racket. i used to play with a prince ti. fire mid. now wilson pro staff the federer version right before the switch to ncode. basically a stick with strings on it.
