    shame on you, non-believers
Megan Fox alone is enough to warrant a 92% on the Tomatometer.

That's extremely odd, considering I am staring at a Transformers mini-poster in my cube as we speak (it was a prize for a department performance thing, felt like I had to be gracious and pin it up) and it has "7.4.7" printed on it as the release date...

I saw it at 8:20 on Monday night.

The guys at the theatres saw it on Saturday because they cracked the lockbox code.  Four-person screening.

Holy sh*t that movie is unbelievable.  For all of you videographers out there the CGI took roughly 41 hours per still to render.

I saw it at 8:00 on Monday in Manhattan, then took my 6 year old son today.  Very good, they did a great job connecting to the old cartoon/movie series from when I was a kid but added plenty of new twists.  Surprised that it had a decent story for that type of movie as well.  Succeeded in the action/humor blend where most have failed and a great movie for the 25-35 year old male, but my wife really liked it as well.  I really enjoyed it, go see it.

bslimz and saulbadguy, glad you guys had a good time watching the "flick"
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

How did you 6 year old like it?  I want to take my 4 year old son, just not sure how he'll do with it.  He's all about the transformers now and I've got him watching all the original cartoons right now.

He liked it a lot.  He was able to follow the story for the most part and he never was really scared or anything.  We had watched several of the originals and the original movie in the last several months.  I'm not sure how a 4 year old would do.  My youngest son will be 4 in a couple of months and I know there is no way he'd be able to make it.
