They played in the Salina Riverfest probably 8-10 years ago, and were good then.  I was a dumb ass kid in junior high or just starting high school, and had horrible music taste back in the day.  They have been my favorite band to play the riverfest.

To be fair to the suicidist, I watched the clip you linked. I wouldn't say it "sucked" but it's an awful lot of non-linear, jam-bandish dicking around. Perhaps I haven't heard the right sampling, because I hear people go on and on about how good Bela Fleck is.
On the Lovett note, I have a couple of friends (with reasonably good taste) who really dig the guy.
Now don't hold a grudge just because I'm not around to hammer trolls for you anymore.

I did link a pretty crapty video. I just got the first one that said "live", you know? I probably could have been more selective but I didn't really feel the need. His reason for not liking Bela Fleck was pretty vague and lame. That's why I suggested he kill himself.

On another note.. I love you Kilgore. Don't worry about the trolls thing, my friend. All of the trolls give enough ammunition for even the craptiest posters to knock them off. Post more, thanks.

That description nails my impression of Bela Fleck.  And I do own at least one and maybe two of his albums.  I will admit that I haven't listened to him in at least 10 years.
