Weird to deliver in a nice car?

Seems like this is a little buried in my summer jobs thread.  Would you tip somebody with a nicer car than you?  I'm driving an SUV now, and sometimes when I don't get tipped, I lose money (I get a dollar per delivery for gas).

I'm driving an 03 Mazda Tribute now.  Thinking of driving an 03 Lexus ES300 sometimes.  Would probably be a lot better for gas.  Full tank in the SUV costs $40 and gets me less than 200 miles.  That's not good, is it?

Here's what you should do:

Drive the SUV, park a couple houses down, put a bike in the back and take it out when you get there.  Walk the bike up to the door and say, Hey guys, I got here as soon as I could!  Bring a spray bottle so it looks like you've been sweating.  You can thank me later when you are making 60k a year as a delivery boy.

I'll do you one even better. Push a shopping cart full of crap everywhere you go on your deliveries. Wear torn and dirty clothes and then they will think you are homeless. The problem is that you'll have to be able to show a lot of humility..
