I despise Colorado and its "fans," but having said that I thought this was so stupid and petty. This is classic NCAA, put a team on probation for what probably was an honest mistake, and let a repeat offender like Oklahoma go when they get caught paying recruits for the sixth time.  :poundon:

Don't hold your breath about Reggie Bush taking over $200,000 either.  :flush:

How does a school &@#% up like that though? It seems like a pretty stupid mistake.. But yeah, it will be ridiculous when OU and USC both walk. Just like ku got a slap on the wrist for basketball..

I'm sure OU will be punished.  I mean they're sure to lose a Cross Country scholarship or something.

On Rivals, someone posted a timeline of all the times OU has been caught paying recruits and players, and looking at it it was pretty obvious that they have been paying players continuously since the 1940's. I was shocked when I saw that. How can the NCAA be so inept? And why shouldn't KSU and Nebraska start paying recruits and players just to level the playing field?  :bs:

I'd seriously like to see that timeline.

Oh, and what was the verdict with the recent OU fiasco? Has the "punishment" been dealt yet?

Expect OU to preemptively take away scholarships from their women's rowing team any day now.

What is that, Waks, a gut feeling or a hunch?  :shy:

I know you don't like Nebraska much, but there's no evidence to support that. An employer loaned one of our players money to fix his car once, but we reported it and the NCAA just told us to be more careful. Hell, we're the same school that reported to the NCAA when Eric Crouch received a sandwich from a booster.

That's all cover-up for the big time violations.

Once again, is that your gut-feeling, or are you preparing evidence? Because there's a whole mountain of evidence against Oklahoma.  :shy:

Don't be delusional, S. Parker. You guys threw mountains of cash at Sam Keller to get him away from ASU.
