    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
Good, Crouch sucked at Nebraska, although he is probably smarter than Bishop. Bishop kicks ass.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

I'm not surprised.  Bishop was/is pure talent.  Crouch was as good as his O-Line.  I know...I know...he won the HT.
Best of luck to Michael

I hope they have a very very small play book for Bishop. He's pretty much brain dead..

I just hope that Crouch sticks with the team and continues to work. Ever since college he has become a huge quitter when things don't go his way. He should have just stayed with the wide receiver position he was given. He was never going to be an NFL qb, so he should have been grateful they took him as a receiver and stuck with it.  :violin:

He was a quitter before he ever played in Lincoln if you recall.

Actually I don't really recall anything while he was at Nebraska. What were you referring to?

After he joined the team in Lincoln he took his ball and went home complaining that the coaches were mean to him or something.  He said he was going to coach with his highschool coach at Millard North.  Well, his highschool coach told him he was a moron and sent his whiney ass back to Lincoln.

Scott Frost >> Crouch

Frost is the Jonathan Beasley of Nebraska.  Way under appreciated while he was playing.

Sorry, I completely forgot about that. It was because they gave Bobby Newcombe the starting job. Crouch left and went home, and Solich went and begged him to come back.

I guess quitting has just always been a personality flaw of his.

QFT

He was very good.  NU fans hated him, then loved him, then hated him and are probably indifferent now.  I don't know what order I would rate Frazier, Crouch and Frost.

Frost was the best passer we had, I think, and he didn't make very many mistakes. Frazier and Crouch will always be remembered for their explosive running ability. Frazier was by far the best qb though.

It's too bad that our talent was bleeding out while Crouch was there. Personality aside, he was an amazing player to watch, and I wish 2001 had ended better for him on the field.

I wish his head would have come clean off......Aww, I'm just F'ing with you, I'm glad he lived.

EDIT:  I think my order goes: Frost = Frazier > Crouch>>>>>>>>>>generic horrible QB>>>>>>>>>>>>>Newcombe>Lord.

    (worst non-premium poster at ksufans.com)
Bishop
May
Roberson

In terms of the offense we ran during those QB's eras I'd rank them as follows:
May's offense
Roberson's offense
Bishop's offense

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

In My Lifetime:

L. Dickey
Grogan
Roberson
Bishop
Beasley
May
D. Dickey
Manucci
Straw
Freeman
Watson
Miller
Kavanaugh
...everyone else.

Freeman may be a little high, but one more good season will put him in the Beasley/May range.

OKAY - I am not taking this as casual conversation anymore.  You are not a true KSU fan
