Haven't seen this mentioned here yet.  Definitely reasonably priced...$45 for the whole thing, including food/lodging.  Will be interesting to see how many of our 2008/2009 targets make it to the camp.

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.

The current players can play in it too-

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Ray Shipman told me last week or so he was coming. He was talking about an Elite camp, but I didn't think K-State had such a thing. Now I know...

Bill Self is doing one as well.

J-Mart, can you find out if any of our guys are planning on playing in this-

I know Mike "Alldaz" Beasley will be busy representing the United States of American in Serbia, but maybe some of the other guys will give it a go?

God Bless Mike Beasley. Stay safe and come home soon!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

great to hear shipman will be attending.  it would be very nice to know who else will be there.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Update on attendees (THANKS "EBOSS"!):

Quote
Add in Dago Pena to the list from Florida. Denmon should be there, he was going to go to Mizzou's but he'd miss a bunch of it for the ACT, instead he'll take an unofficial visit there next week. Wesley Witherspoon was expected last I heard as were Matt Humphrey, Josh Crittle and maybe even Mike Dunigan from Chicago. Also, pretty sure Willie Reed from here in KC will be there. At least, those are some of the names I'd heard as of a week ago.

If they all show up, they've got a nice crew of kids rolling through there.

All from Pullen's AAU program:

Sweet.  Do they run these camps in Bra.....  sorry.... THE OCTAGON OF DOOM?  Glad KSU is finally doing something like this.  It can only help recruiting when we have some top talent here working with the coaches and existing players/recruits.

Think we'll be on any more lists after this camp?  Hope Pullen is doing his best to recruit some of his buddies.

A class consisting of Kadji, Shipman, Pena, Witherspoon, and one of Pullen's teammates would be sick.

Signing three of those or two + Denmon in the fall would be phenomenal.  I don't want to have to wait till spring and fight with the elites for late minute pickups.

Yeah.  I guess me anticipating only three scholarships is wishful thinking at best...

Of course, when's the last time we had to worry about how many 'ships we had bc of the potential of our players going pro?

This might be common knowledge, but just in case it's not and people are interested, Sutton will be here on saturday.

I just saw pullen in the union with Dalonte...new student orientation was going on but they didn't really look like they were  part of that.
