It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I kept wanting to tell myself that he wasn't as good as he looked last year (I'm not sure why...)

but he really was that good.

Tremendous player and doesn't get enough credit for being awesome.

    This ZERO is my Hero
I'd be surprised if he saw 20+ a game.  Maybe his junior year though.  But just think what he could do behind a good o-line!

I'm hoping his blocking skills improve.

I think if he's carrying 20+ times a game, we'll lose.

If he's carrying 20+, odds are good that he breaks at least two of those carries for touchdowns.  The only bad thing I see in that is if he's carrying that many times, JJ would have to be hurt.  :frown:

His height will not hurt him...I think as a running back you have more of an advantage the shorter you are...I don't like tall running backs.
Short running backs cannot be seen behind 6'5" 290lb o-linemen, have a lower pad level, and typically very strong legs.  Of course I'm a bit biased since I'm 5'5".

Johnson has to get the ball some.  He showed in the spring he's a much improved player over last year.

we'll probably see a good rotation of both jj and lp. our running backs are one of the highlights of our offense, imo.

Maybe not this year, but definately next year.  Patton gets so much out of his carries it will be tough to keep the ball out of his hands that much.
