99.5 times out of 100, leasing a car is not a good decision
The only time it's good is when the company is paying the lease.
I'll agree with that one... But I've seen more people ruin there credit from rolling negative equity into a traditional loan than I have on leases. Bottom line, there's a lot of stupid &@#%ing people out there. Last week, a lady came in that had bought a brand new mazda the weekend prior, decided she didn't want it, Mazda wouldn't take it back, so she traded it, and rolled 8K of negative equity into another new car from Ford. I can't believe she had good enough credit for a bank to carry that much, but she did. She then came into our store trying to do the same because she didn't like the ford she got into and we wouldn't even try to help her... I just told her to save up about $20,000 for a down payment on her next car. I'm sure she left to go to another dealership as soon as she left us. What's stupid is she was smart enough to realize that she was in a situation that she carried 8k into the car she was currently in and was probably about 12-15k upside down; but she wasn't smart enough to not do it again. Stupid bitch.
