We'd love to have you, Chris. I don't even have to say anything to make my case against ku.  I think if you visit both univerisities, you will see the passion of the KSU fans.  We support our football program and have had 5 players sign with NFL teams this week.
Attend ku ony  if you want to play in Canada! :loly:

Hey Chris,

I just wanted to state some facts for you.

1.  ku leads the all-time series with K-State, 63-36

2.  ku has beaten K-State two out of the last three years and is on the rise, while K-State is still living in the past.

3.  ku basketball has been to 4 Final Fours and 2 National Championships since K-State last won an NCAA Tournament game.

4.  ku ranks ahead of K-State in US News' National Top 100 and will give you a better education, especially if you want to do something that involves sports and/or business (http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/t1natudoc_brief.php)

5.  I hope your team does well this weekend at the Jayhawk Invitational.  Take the opportunity to walk around the campus and see for yourself why ku is a great school.

And also remember ku is on probation and is a bad reputation school.  Come to a school that will love you unconditionally.

Hey Chris,

I just wanted to state some facts for you.

1.  ku leads the all-time series with K-State, 63-36

KSU's current streak since you've been alive is like 15-4 over ku.

Quote
2.  ku has beaten K-State two out of the last three years and is on the rise, while K-State is still living in the past.

KSU has put more people in the NFL draft in this last year, than ku has put into the NFL in the last three.   What does that tell you?  KSU develops NFL talent, ku dashes hopes and dreams.

ku also hasn't won a road game in years.  KSU still leads the Big 12 in football in several categories.  The only time ku is ever mentioned in the stats books is when they've been severely beaten.

Quote
3.  ku basketball has been to 4 Final Fours and 2 National Championships since K-State last won an NCAA Tournament game.

ku has peaked and is now on the decline.  KSU will resume it's dominance.  See superior recruiting classes.

Quote
4.  ku ranks ahead of K-State in US News' National Top 100 and will give you a better education, especially if you want to do something that involves sports and/or business (http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/brief/t1natudoc_brief.php)

ku does not graduate athletes as well as KSU does.  If you want to get an education, the USNews report doesn't state you'll have a better chance of graduating.

Quote
5.  I hope your team does well this weekend at the Jayhawk Invitational.  Take the opportunity to walk around the campus and see for yourself why ku is a great school.

Just watch who follows you around.  Male in a pink or pastel colored shirt means he has a crush on you.  Do you really want stalkers this early?

KSU puts players in the NFL.  Whatever they do with it, is up to them.

Thank you for choosing KSU.

Chris Harper, you already have NFL measurables.  6'2'', 225.  You already have NFL speed.  4.45 40.  And obviously from the video, you have NFL athleticism.  Come to KSU, work hard, and the NFL will be in your future as evidenced by our draft successes.  The KSU coaching staff models the offense after the NFL.

James Franklin.

Former NFL wide receivers coach.  Current KSU offensive coordinator.

Honestly though.... Why is anyone even trying to compare ku and KSU.... People choose ku over KSU for 2 reasons.

1.  It was their only scholarship offer.
2. They're afraid of failure, so they go somewhere that expects failure or no one cares if you fail or not.

I really don't think anyone as talanted as Chris Harper would suffer from any of those problems.

FBWillie, I don't think any of us take ku seriously in the race for Harper.  Just having fun w/ this about ku.  KSU leads and he will wind up at KSU.

All high school quarterbacks want to play quarterback in college.

And all college quarterbacks want to play quarterback in the NFL.

Doesn't work out that way sometimes and sometimes that is for the best.

But, Chris can come to KSU as a QB if he wants.

His QB videos are very solid.

Don't worry. He LOVES K-State. They'd have to screw this up mightily if he doesn't end up in Manhattan.

Of course, you can read all about it tomorrow in my notebook (shameless plug).
