Remember when it was satisfying just to be mentioned by these kids?

I won't feel satisfied until one of them is playing their first exhibition game.

more than one.  martin will need to clean up in ´09 if he keeps striking out in ´08.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

from a productivity standpoint, he has missed on everyone that has committed elsewhere.

individually the misses don't look bad (kadji - hard to beat uf, can't get everyone you want; shipman - who the fjck would have thought uf would offer him?, tchin... got in late, etc.).  but bottom line - no one has committed, and other than ww, ksu doesn't seem to be mentioned with a lot of guys. even scarier, ksu is taking on a panic 2007 kid when they should be focused on reeling in 2008s.  lots of bad vibes.

How he does in real life games will make or break 09 recruiting.  No reason to get excited or concerned until we know if Frank can win.  Beasley holding up a single finger in late June wouldn't hurt, either.

I agree, the Ron Anderson thing is concerning...but having a team of DC Assaulters could help with guys like Wally Judge, I suppose.  Samuels as the first 2008 (07?) recruit would be a nice start, I guess.

You must honestly be miserable wherever you are.  prayers.

Yeah, I liked the more upbeat sys.

huggins got my hopes up.  it is hard to go back to wooly/asbury level recruits and try to convince myself that they will somehow be molded into a winning team.

Clemente was higher RSCI than any Wooly recruit but Cartier.  Even after the Beasley Walker exodus, we'll still have as many top 100 guys as we got during the entire Wooly era, plus 4 or 5 sophomores.

We aren't at the Wooly level...yet...

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

gilbert is arguably the worst ksu juco recruit since dinkins.  anderson sports a yearby-to-worse resume.

martin's first (spring) class spans a wider range that wooldridge's spring class, but is it really any better?  will clemente's 2 years be better than reid's?

we will see bro. In the meantime, you'd best watch the NDSU win on youtube.

No effing way, if you look at straight up scoring...he won't be able (have) to play 35 minutes a game.  I'd be mildly surprised if he didn't shoot 34% from 3 as a senior, though.

Samuels would be the third (?) best HS recruit of the Wooly era...he'd pass Dez & Nick if he hits double figures in scoring in his career

yeah, but 2008 (hopefully - better than burning a year getting him in at the semester).  doesn't count now.

I ran across a 2009 recruit to add to the list, Rodney McGruder, from our favorite source - DC Assault.

http://www.i95ballerz.com/story%20-%20dc%20assault%2016u%2007%20pg%202.html

Rivals has him rated as a 4*  and is ranked 74th in the country. Work your magic, Delonte!
