    Gettin' angried up!!!
I won't think negatively of Bennett for not sticking it out.
Everybody wants to bring up Bill Walker, and how Huggins
stuck the sword in his back ... I don't think anyone was
more victimized by Huggins than Bennett. He never felt
comfortable leaving Florida, it didn't seem he ever found
a home in Manhattan, nor was he probably ever going to.
It's too bad that Huggins swindled him (and his family)
into coming out here. I wish him the best.

EDIT: But hey, we'll always have "Bennett-ville"
Is this like an ode to Benneck?  It looks like it's in some sort of sonnet form or whatever type of poem isn't a haiku, as I know little to nothing about poems.

Damnit, I hate when we lose guys who can't score, rebound, run, catch, defend others at his position, listen to the coaches without whining, or accept a foul call without looking like an idiot.

But hey - at least he could block shots!  And he was tall!

You forgot one....he is the tallest cheerleader in NCAA history. :D

You realize that less than 2% of the posters here will get that reference without looking at the URL to find out who it is, right?   :D

he changed games.

if we could have at least got him to quit making mistakes, even if he never found an offensive game, he would have been a valuable player.
