You might want to check into how his prior interview with Cinci went.

He was horrible.  Completely took himself out of consideration.  The guy is a lunatic, apparently.

Sign him up!   :D

Well obviously he didn't get the job, but outside of that ...how bad could it have been?  Did he knock out the AD and pizz on his unconscience body?  I mean...he still worked for them...

Ron Prince was hired because he "gave a great interview."  Clearly, giving a great interview doesn't make you a good coach.

Jayhox has followed huggs career since Cinci, he's also a huge cinci fan, and has sources all throughout Ohio.

All D1 football or basketball coaches are lunatics, IMO.  Some are just better at hiding it than others.

I'm with Hox on this one.
There's absolutely no reason why he hasn't been offered a head coaching job.  None at all.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

He did take Snyder's team and improve it by several wins.  Might want to give the man more than one year before casting your judgement.

Jayhox wouldn't support any KSU coach. He REALLY REALLY hates KSU.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I'd like to know who he honestly thinks would be a good hire.

Just saying that Frank Martin is rediculous just because he hasn't had a head coaching job is just stupid.

Frank Martin is damage control.  Hire him as head coach and keep Delonte Hill as the top assistant in order to salvage one recruiting class.  When Walker and Beasley go NBA after one season, it's back to the drawing board, and K-State is set back another 3-4 years.

I would support MArtin.  I bet you right now Weiser is finalizing a contract with him that is very pro-KSU, low base salary, incentive laiden, and with KSU-favored out clauses.  I also predict an announcement by the end of the weekend.

A knee-jerk attempt to win next year that is bad for the long haul.  You guys have the money pool to do better, but I don't think your leadership will be patient and put Beasley and Walker ahead of long-term health of the program.

Agreed, but I didn't say that.

You people simply don't understand how good Beasley and Walker are.

They need to be kept.

I don't see how you can label Frank Martin as a likely-failure.  But I guess a good percentage of Division 1 head coaches get fired eventually, so that may be true.
