it's a turboprop.  that's just stupid.

Interesting.  Owned by a company called Paragon, which looks like a flight instructor school  based out of Florida.  And the plane flew to WV from Florida.

I think this is a false alarm.  :hope:

Trying to stay optimistic - Maybe be made the decision to stay and they are flying out to make a last minute plea.

Isn't a good thing they've flown in from Cinci in the past?  Probably reaching here.

That's what I think this is.  It's their last ditch effort.  Weiser better be in Bob's hip pocket all day long.

Don't you guys have Google Alerts? The provost from KSU interviewed in Morgantown yesterday. That's probably him on his way back...

Well, its better its his buddies IMO.  They've flown into Manhattan in the past.  Its not officials from WVU.  They could easily take him back in that plane, but usually the school will send their own plane.  Plus, they've flown in from Cinci in the past, so it could just as easily be some Cinci folks as it is WVU folks.  Again ->  :hope:

The flight came from Charleston and had been in Manhattan for the ku and Tech games.  You can register for free and see it.

FAN is doing an admirable job of spinning this, but it isn't working for me.

I don't see why this whole WVU thing is even an issue.  I mean it isn't like Bob doesn't see his good ole' buddies.  For pete's sake they must talk all the time and certainly have the money to see each other.

This makes absolutely no sense.

I don't have much confidence in our ability to compete with these guys when they are putting on the full court press.

Must be a quick "last ditch effort", because they don't plan on being in Manhattan for long...

No, that's gotta be good.  It would be much more troubling if they planned to spend the whole day with him.  (Hopefully they get back on the plane and it leaves as scheduled.)  This way, maybe weefs and weis have a chance of getting some more face time.

The only place he would go is WVU and he'd do that on their plane.

EDIT:  I have flip-flopped on this more than Al Gore in a presidential debate.

He is not going anywhere...if he does it sucks for you and the big XII.

If this is all true, it is one of the shadiest deals ever.  WVU gets their boosters to go get him, and therefore don't have to call our administration for permission.  Geez WVU, sack up and do the job yourself.

It seems likely they are picking him up.

He is gone.

1.  Why would he be flying with his buddies and not on a WVU jet?
2.  Why would they be headed to Charleston and not to Morgantown?
