I heard Fitz on the pregame radio show explain that a number of fans that were from out of town or unable to make the game wanted to contribute by purchasing a ticket and having it donated by PI to various organizations.  There were about 500 tickets donated.  They were given to Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club, and apparently fraternities / sororities.  Pretty cool deal.

    The very best.
Cool, but terribly ineffective.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

The guy happened to be an alumni of my fraternity. I've never met him but still a good gesture i suppose.

the posters on GPC are buying up tickets for the same thing on Monday.  There were 500 tickets bought by posters and then given out to the boys & Girls club, Ft. Riley...etc.  Good cause.

I know that they are going for more than 500 tickets for monday since most of the students will be gone.

Just goes to show how weak our student's (not all of you) commitment to supporting the basketball team really is.
