Next year. I look at this as a great jumping off point in the eventual road to securing a mid-major coaching job.
MPRD rec league--------teaching degree/asst. coach at small school--Quick, staggering success--Oust head couch in power play--win state title--get middling major high school job----turn them around from underachievers to league co-champs---another state championship---b-ball camp circuit---name circulated as "up and comer"-----asst. coach for Delonte Hill @ UNC after Roy retires and KSU has capped off three straight final four runs with one N'tl Championship-----Head coach at Witchita St./Mo St./Creighton/Tulsa etc.
It all starts with my basic defensive/offensive strategy.
I call it the Box and One. It consists of four players in a very loose match-up man v. man with two guys at the blocks and two at the bottom of the circle. Our best offensive player stands at mid-court and waits for his outlet pass.
