Per some random dude on the Greg Swaim forums.

Greg Swaim is awesome.

Keep in mind...this isn't Greg Swaim...it's a random poster on the Greg Swaim forums.  Although, I went through his posts and he seems to have some idea about what he's talking about, at least compared to most posters on the Greg Swaim forums.

I know this, but that doesn't discount the awesomeness of Greg Swaim.  Expert on all things recruiting.... in the state of OK at least.

One guy said "Coach Sampson's staff definitely did not like him and had no use for him at all."

Really? I guess that's why he paid me $300 each year to come speak to his camp..now that's the cold shoulder ;)

Some good stuff in that thread.  You've got to love a guy who props himself like that.  I can't believe I once paid for a year's sub. to his site.  Stupid.

warren recruiting updates are awesome.  he either has a stunneresque sense of humor or is the most malleable kid alive.  he changes leaders forcefully and often.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

I can second that, but a random person on an OSU board was saying how Willie was at the OSU-KSU game just to watch K-State, I wouldn't say he's any sort of a reliable source though.

Please keep premium info on www.ksufans.com plz.

"Kansas is probably my top school right now," said Warren. "Kansas is at the top and Arkansas is right behind. Those two schools might actually be tied, but I would say that Kansas is my top school right now. I just love Coach Bill Self and the tradition at Kansas. They develop players for the NBA and Coach Self lets his players play.

"Me and Rotnei are going to the same college. We've kind of decided that together. I know he's talked to Oklahoma a lot and it's close to home for him and everything so I think they're a real good school for him. If he went to Oklahoma there's a good chance I'd end up there, too." - 7/5/06

"I love Baylor." - 8/4/06

"I talk to Arkansas constantly on a daily basis," - 1/17/07
"I know that Willie is very excited about Arkansas" - 1/22/07

Warren said that he enjoyed the game, but he could only talk about one thing that he noticed at Reed Arena – the crowd. Warren, who previously listed schools such as Texas, Kansas, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Baylor, Florida and LSU, added the Aggies to his list after the trip. - 1-22-07

"Cincinnati is definitely in the mix, in my top five." - 2/27/07

"Kansas and Arkansas are two schools that I really like. But I am also interested in Texas A&M, Texas, Connecticut, Florida, Arizona, Baylor and a couple of others. There are too many schools recruiting me right now to remember them all. I've got a lot of great schools recruiting me right now." - 3-1-07

I'm pretty sure there was one where he listed KSU as a favorite.

i didn´t include everything.  he never listed ksu as a leader, just mentioned strong interest based on his relationship with huggins.

interestingly in going back through the updates, ksu was never listed as one of the programs going after him hard.  which seems weird.

Warren mentioned his current top five consists of Kansas State, Syracuse, Georgetown, Arkansas and Missouri with Kansas State holding a slight lead, because of his relationship with coach Bob Huggins.

Quote
He's still a bit rusty but showing flashes of why the likes of Florida, Kansas State, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Georgia Tech, Georgia and George Washington are showing interest. Warren said he's really high on Kansas State right now.

Maybe stunner modified the quotes or something.

the first is the one i was thinking of.  i just didn´t consider it strong enough to say ksu was ever in the lead.  i must have missed the second one.  together they are strong enough that i would have put them in my post.
