    This ZERO is my Hero
How many games before he does something to get himself and/or KSU in trouble?  17 is my guess.  I think he holds it together for about half the season before some kind of incident.

Now, I am not bashing the Tyree signing, if and when it happens, but I am just trying to be realistic.  I will take our chances with him. However, this guy probably isn't a saint....afterall, they all can't be a Rush and Giles,  :loly:

Tyree will be just fine.  KSU will be under a microscope by the press just waiting for the first anything. Seems to me that ku has had their share of problems of late. I don't think ku people have the right to say anything as it relates to players and their problems!  :twobirds: :twobirds: ku These birds are for you!

My main reason for concern is that he very well could have screwed himself over by the way he acted at Butler.  I don't know anything for sure, but it sounds like he would have tried harder to walk the line to ensure his arrival at KSU.  Thats my thoughts though.  However, he got kicked off the Butler team and still is coming to KSU, so maybe he knows more than me afterall.

As long as he plays tough D and puts the ball through the hoop at a high rate next year, he is 'A' okay in my book.

How Ironic is it that Smithson to my knowledge only had two top 100 recruits and both had the last name of Evans. The first Evans now plays for the Laykers. Niether Evans could get along with Smithson. Basicly the Evans debockle was Smithsons undoing at WSU. Then this year Smithson checks himself into Rehab? Now that's a first class coach! I suppose Smithson will write some sort of I done it my way book! :beerchug:

Well crap man.  At the rate of 35 or so games a year, Tyree may miss out on our last two games his senior year.

I'm taking the over.  I don't think he'll ever get in trouble.  i just set a line so people would take the under.

we won't have problems, he is obviously committed more than most to bob huggins, I don't think he would go through all this, moving, going to butler, just to get in trouble at ksu.

You must have missed out on my subtle dropping of 35 games per year.

Why would we be playing 35 games per year for the next three years?

I doubt if Tyree gets into any trouble at K-State, but I do worry Huggs will be on his case all the time for things like lack of defensive effort, and I wonder how well Tyree will be able to take the criticism.  It may be a rough first year for Evans until he learns that it will be Huggins way or the highway...

It sounds like he really worked on his defense in high school.  I think he will be just as good or better as any other newcomer.

I'm sure that he knows this already, he was comitted to cinci, he loved huggins and his style of play which is what made him choose cinci in the first place.  I'm sure he knows what will be expected.

This may be a discussion for another thread, but did Huggins get on Walker's case at all when he played?  I realize Walker played in a handful of games, but I'm trying to remember a time when Huggins chewed Walker out.

No.  Walker's short time with us was perfect.
