ACC

Should be in -

Boston College
Maryland
North Carolina
Duke
Virginia Tech
Virginia

Clemson, Florida State and Georgia Tech are on the bubble. Clemson is going the way of Oklahoma State and had better beat Miami and win at Virginia Tech as well as get deep into the ACC Tournament. Florida State has an elimination game at Miami and even if they survive that they'll have to do damage in the ACC Tournament. Georgia Tech still plays North Carolina and Boston College and MUST win those games just to have a shot.

Prediction: 6

Big East

Should be in -

Georgetown
Notre Dame
Louisville
Pittsburgh
Marquette

Villanova, Syracuse, DePaul, West Virginia and Providence are on the bubble. Villanova will get in at 8-8 with a win at UConn. Syracuse should get in with a win at Villanova. DePaul should get to 9-7 but better do damage in the Big East Tournament. West Virginia has to win at Pittsburgh and even if they do their wins are against UConn, Villanova, St. John's, South Florida, DePaul, Rutgers, Seton Hall twice and Cincinnati who are a combined 40 games under .500 in conference play. Providence better win the Big East Tournament to get in.

Prediction - 7

Big 10

Should be in -

Ohio State
Wisconsin

Michigan State and Indiana should also get in. Out of the bubble teams, I think Illinois and maybe Iowa get in. To be safe I'll say.....

Prediction - 5

Pac 10

Should be in -

Arizona
UCLA
Washington State
USC
Oregon

Stanford is a bubble team that should get in. They must beat Arizona State at home to make that last game vs. Arizona at home really meaningful. If not.....They better make a run in the Pac 10 Tournament.

Prediction - 6

SEC

Should be in -

Florida
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Tennessee

Alabama's schedule isn't going to be enough down the stretch, Georgia has to win at Kentucky and against Tennessee to have a shot, Mississippi must win at Alabama and vs. Auburn which wouldn't even be all that impressive and they have no major wins to point at. Mississippi State could win at Arkansas and vs. Alabama but I don't think that'll be enough.

Prediction - 4

Missouri Valley

Should be in -

Southern Illinois
Creighton

Missouri State better win vs. Wichita State and I think they'll get in. Bradley better get deep into the conference tournament.

Prediction - 3

That means that 31 bids, not counting the Big XII because I didn't want to appear biased, should be pretty solid going into Championship Week. During Championship Week you're going to want to watch what teams like Old Dominion, Xavier, Drexel, San Diego State, Appalachian State, UMass, Virginia Commonwealth, Davidson, Winthrop, Hofstra, Gonzaga, Santa Clara and Wright State do in their respective conference tournaments.

Also East Tennessee State, College of Charleston, High Point and Loyola Marymount.

I still think we do but the margin for error is getting smaller every day.
