Baylor could knock off Texas Tech, right?

I don't think it matters anymore.  If anything, I'd rather Tech win out so their RPI is higher when we play them in the tournament.

Even if we lose out and they win out, we're a 5th seed and they're a 4th.  We'll pummel Colorado and then proceed to go play Tech.  I think at this point we play Tech no matter what.

No!

Folks if we don't win saturday any NCAA discussion is moot, and its already not in great shape.  We need Tech to be as highly rated as possible, them losing to BU or ISU does us no favors.  Only another win (or two) against a Top 50 team is going to give us a chance now, and we aren't playing that team saturday.

And to root for a team to lose so we can back into 4th place if we lose is silly IMO.

Good point, it would be nice if we played them after we win against OU and they win out, that could do alot to get us in with just 1 win in the tourney.

Agree with ksu_fan at this point a loss Sat and we will need to play on Sunday (and probably win on Sunday) to make the dance.

We need Tech to have as many wins as possible to boost their RPI and our strength of schedule.

Why does it matter if Baylor puts Texas Tech out of their misery or if we do it? Done is done, isn't it?

A loss to Baylor at home would likely drop them out of the Top 50 in the RPI.  A loss at ISU would do the same.  They win those two, it bumps their RPI (slightly) and a loss to us on a neutral floor keeps them in the Top 50, thus giving us another quality win.  The only thing that can save us now is if we get 1 or 2 more quality wins, it would be nice to have an opportunity to do that on friday in OKC.
