KSU fans really know how to make a guy feel welcome. 

You know, before tonight the biggest affiliation I had with KSU was when I would play with them in NCAA Football and run the option with Roberson and Sproles. Nobody could stop that. I had a pretty good dynasty going with you guys.

So, how do the majority of UF fans feel about Spurrier?

It's tough. Some hate him, some still love him, others are in the middle. I, personally, think he had to do what was best for himself so I wasn't mad at him for taking the South Carolina job. But man did it hurt losing to him last year, especially at the end of the day when we found out if we had won we would have gone to the SEC Championship game. Next year he's coming to The Swamp and that will be interesting for sure.

You guys will be fine. KSU fans were extremely made when we lost out on Portis.

Well it turns out you didn't miss much with Portis. Dude's mom is a head case. She moved to G-ville and made a lot of people uncomfortable. She would go to practices and get really loud whenever Josh made a nice play, and would talk in the stands during games about how Leak should be benched and her son should start. She was getting on a lot of the coaches nerves too. I forgot she also didn't want us recruiting Tim Tebow...she didn't like that at all. So she basically convinced Josh to transfer to Maryland so he can have a chance to start there.

Thing is, if you ever watched a KSU offense under Snyder..you'd know someone like Portis would thrive.

Ron Zook. Garbage?

Let's put it this way: Zook is a nice guy. 

I really wanted him to succeed, and thought he could at first, but he had to go. Our team showed no progress under Zook. We beat LSU in 2003 when they won the national championship, but also lost to Ole Miss in the same year. Then we lost to Ole Miss again the year after. It was ugly. Basically everyone was used to winning at least 9 games a year and under Zook we only won 8, 8, and 7. And those first two years we had the 12th game, and still couldn't hit 9.

I was really happy for Zook when he beat FSU in Tally in what would be his last game as a Gator, and the team carried him off the field on their shoulders.

But I am glad he has moved on, and I love Meyer and the direction the team is headed.

I remember that Mississipi State loss. That was horrible. Zook was bad for you guys imo.

Still not 100% sold on Meyer...seems like your offense fluttered this year

Yeah that offense was inconsistent, but statistics show that the real test of Meyer's offense is in the second year. That's when he put up some insane stats at Bowling Green and Utah. Last year we were inconsistent because our O-line was pretty bad and the playcalling wasn't good at first. By the end of the year we finally got into some formations with a fullback and a TE and could utilize our offensive weapons more effectively. I think we misused Chad Jackson, though. At the combine he went on a tear, running a 4.32 40, and we had him running 7 yard curl routes where he was immediately drilled by a CB right when he caught the ball. I could go on about other stuff but I just remembered...this is a KSU basketball board! I don't want to put you guys to 

But yeah, hopefully we'll see some offensive improvements in year two.
