ost experts project Kansas State, fourth in the Big 12 standings at 8-5, will not make the NCAA tournament. It’s difficult to see Missouri receiving a bid ahead of K-State. Not only are the Wildcats ahead of Missouri in the standings, but they also beat the Tigers twice.

It talks a lot about Mizzou's tourney chances and then goes on to talk about possible scenarios in the Big XII tourney. The paper projects us to play Mizzou in the second round..

If there's any newspaper I trust to make unbiased predictions about KSU's chances of making the NCAA tournament, it's the one in the college town of one of our biggest rivals that also happens to be home to the team just behind us in the Big 12 standings.

I don't consider Mizzou a rival. I just recognize that they want to beat us more than any team other than ku. I just thought it was interesting that they tried to say that most experts say we won't get in. I'd be willing to bet quite a bit of money that we get in.

    shame on you, non-believers
I'm sure for the Missouri paper, "most experts" = Lunardi.

Again, the problem with this is that "most experts" pick their field "if the season ended today."  Thus, they don't take into account the future schedule/likely results.  In this case, this should help us, because our last three games appear to be substantially easier than many other bubble teams.
