I got a text from a buddy at the game that said there were chickens on the floor.... dear god let there be pictures.

There were two chickens during the ku introductions, and when they introduced Brandon Rush, condoms were thrown onto the court.  Dear Baby Jesus... please again, let there be photos.

4 chickens.  there is poor quality video on youtube.


nice to see chickens, but the quality is a bit disappointing.  if you are going to go the trouble of smuggling in poultry, at least get some decent birds.  not some poor used up hens than haven´t flapped a wing outside of a cage since they were 12 weeks old.

okay, good work for the first time in years, now start thinking/planning on for next year, it's never too early.   -  think paint, and birds with enough athletic ability to stay in the game for a couple of minutes, etc..

Pigeons are a dime a dozen and they could easily make nests in the rafters, bombing Bill Self during the whole game.  Plus, they would be much easier to sneak in.

All I know is that an assistant coach was involved.  I'm not gonna say whether it was a grad assistant or an actual assistant though.  I have actual proof for those who don't believe me, but the proof could get the person/assistant in trouble.  All I know is that if assistant coaches are involved, this tradition will last a LONG time.
