jucojunction is like the DAV of information...

all second-hand..and smells like piss.

JucoJunction does suck, but for JUCO kids it's all we got for ratings.  Four JUCOs list K-State with interest:

#4 Charlie Coley   6-7  F
#8  Marcus Thornton   6-3 G
#58  Jimmy Allen   6-9 F
#112  Kristof Ongenaet   6-8 F

I guess you would have to add Tyree Evans to the list but he didn’t make JucoJunction’s top 124 players!  As a rule of thumb to compare JUCOs with high school kids you multiply the JUCO’s rating by 5 (because there are five times as many high schoolers as JUCOs), so in order to get top-150 and better kids you want JUCOs that are rated 30 or better.  Onegenaet is #112 which corresponds to a HS kid rated at #560!!!  I don’t understand this one at all...

On Tyree, he is listed in another ranking of the Top 50.  Evans #8 (click)

Why are we settling on Coley and this Kristoff guy?

I don't understand the descrepencies between the two rankings I posted.  One is top 125 and one is top 50, but they are way different.  Coley is #4 in one and #19 in the other for example.

And both the top-125 and the top-50 rating were compiled on the same day!  JucoJunction sucks.

But anyway, it doesn’t matter if #4 or #10 is available, why not go after #1 if he is available (and he is)!

juco rankings are nowhere near as accurate as hs rankings.  and the rankings for california jucos are the least reliable of any.
