Can none of the bigs put up a hook shot?  Would have been more effective than Hoskins.

I know i sound stupid but maybe give Afeli the ball when he's defended one on one.  I don't have the feel his shot will get blocked.   :banghead:

Glad Cartier is moving on.  Nice guy but not bigtime player.

Agree with Fran Frashella.  Next year we got more scoring - better shot.

The team is still missing a big who can post up and a pg who can make his own openings.  At least one of those is coming next year..... :shy:

And to think we still could make the tourny....

Huggy really turned this group from chickencrap into chicken salad....with more then half the team Wooly's men.

Win at CU and its a toss up between OU and OSU...should win one of those two.

afeli is decent in the post.  but he doesnīt pass well and canīt hit a ft.  2 important differences between him and hoskins.  hoskinsīs game is getting to the line.  if he canīt do that, or the refīs donīt help him get there, he isnīt going to put up a great line.

Glad Cartier is moving on.  Nice guy but not bigtime player.

martin was good last night.  just like he has been throughout his career.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Op...there is no way you can hang this one on Cartier.  He has had some games where he didn't show up but he played well in this one and at Texas.  Hoskins definitely doesn't match up well with ku's bigs because they are long and athletic...and of course they won't get called for a foul (see Akeem's mugging).  Harris really needed to step up and give us more but he has just never really figured it out.  He has turned himself into an erratic set shooter by screwing with his shot.  He has had some good games for us but you just can't count on him.  Maybank didn't go the hole once...how can that be the case after the lesson of the game in ku.  Personally, I really wish we had Cartier's game for one more year.
