Absolutely. This is hardly a *Commitment to Mediocrity* hire. Apparently an AD that cares more about performance than shakin' hands and kissing babies...and a President which finally just got out of the way. Although not in exact context, the Bill Parcells comment years ago about getting to shop for the groceries echoes in my mind. They did hire Weiser for some reason, and this proves he can perform, despite the pleather jacket everyone loved to ridicule (or hot dogs, and really neither have to do with their job performance).
Perhaps the best thing, K-Staters don't have to have that *we're just not good enough for a quality hire* feeling that we've seen so many times. It's disgusting!
I'm coming back for the Spring Game and already looking at making a quick jaunt for a basketball game or two.
