Magic numbers for first round tourney bye

For your rooting interests in the upcoming games.  Here are the magic numbers for the Cats to clinch a first round bye in Okla. City.

ISU, CU and Baylor mathmatically can't catch us.

MU - Magic number 1
NU - Magic number 1 or 2 (too lazy to look up all the tie-break possibilties since we split with them)
OSU, OU - Magic number 3
UT - Magic number 5 (they've got games with A&M and ku left so 3rd is still a real possibilty for us)

Oklahoma State 5-6 19-7
Missouri 5-7 16-9
Nebraska 4-7 15-10

* for the sports challenged magic number is the number of your teams wins plus the other teams losses need to clinch.

I think it's their record vs. the North vs. our record vs. the North.

You are right.  They have 4 losses in the division and mathmatically we could end up with 4 too so it would go on down the tie break.  If we beat ku or CU then NU would be eliminated.
