Go Jayhawks. Now that we have a decent team, we aren't relegated to simply cheering against ku. Awesome.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

MJ, can we please talk basketball here?

I will as soon as you stop being so emotional.

BTW:  It doesn't matter who wins the Big 12.   I'd rather A&M win it than the squawks simply because to root for ku is against the KSU Fan code.  You know what that is right?

Glad I'm not alone in this...I'm still pissed off we blew that lead against them...

I know. If we won that game....

But leading by 5 with 10 minutes left on the road isn't much of a lead. If that counts for "blowing" a lead then every team blows a lead at least 10 times a year.

Yep, I agree...but I never doubted for a minute that KSU could win that game going in...and still don't "believe" in A&M..

I'm trying to think of their good league wins this year even....

What's their best road win?

I would think ku would drill them, but it will probably be a love fest between the two Bills

All I want is for some team to actually win the Big 12 outright, instead of "ku-ing" it.

I can't hate on Billie now, his team is good.  Had a "bad" loss at LSU, but other than that took uCLA to the wire and lost late at Tech.  We'll have to let the season play out, but aTm is very good.  And I would much rather see aTm as Big 12 Champs if we can't win the thing.

Looking at it, I see A&M having a minimum of 4 losses, if not 5 or 6.

Surely, they won't win it.

If we can split these next two, I actually like KSU's chances...this team is a true "Scorer" away from being very dangerous.

Yeah, his name is Bill and now he's most know for "Louder"l.  :frown:

I think aTm will go to the wire for the league title with ku.

Let's see how their next two games go...they win those, and I'm a believer.

Right now, I view them a lot like KSU.

Pretty good, but not "league title" type team.

They have Acie Law, which makes the difference...not to mention a competent scoring threat inside.

I still expect ku to drill them.

I used to go after Billie a bit, but looking back that was probably more jealousy b/c of Wooly's ineptitude.  He's continued to build that program and he appears to have them on the cusp of competing with ku for a league title.  Saturday will tell us a lot.

Geez.. have you seen them play?  They are great.  KSU is in the top 5 for a reason in this conference.

The chickens are undefeated against the south in Allen Fieldhouse. There's no way aTm is going to come out with a W. I think they may fight hard but will come up short 10-15 points. ku seems to be playing their best right now and after seing what they did to OSU, I don't think ku will be any less pumped for this one especially with what's at stake.

Ya lost me...

A&M looks better at this point because they have wins over a couple of teams with winning leauge records.

KSU simply HAS to beat someone with a winning league record...

The next week is really going to be interesting in this conference...We've got UT in a trap game...and ku possibly coming off a "high" of beating A&M.

A&M has @ku and vs. UT on Big Monday...

This is going to be an awesome 6 or 7 days for bball fans in the Big 12.

Works to our advantage against UT but ku wont overlook us after A&M or come weak.  They have to be pretty sour after last year.  Better they beat A&M  then lose it though.    If A&M beats them, then they will be a scary team to play

I want ku to win Saturday, and win going away, because that team seems collectively stupid enough to overlook KSU..

I'm serious.  That team is just flat WEIRD...they are ULTRA talented, and when they show up, there isn't a team in this league that can play with them I don't think, but they are like one big collective head case until proven otherwise.

You can take the boy out of the phog, but you can't take the phog out of the boy . . . considering they've got a big vat of "everybody brings their A game against ku" Kool-Aid over there, one has to assume until further notice that BMW was serious.

If not . . . my apologizes. . . sort of.

The KSU Fan Code clearly demands that KSU fans root for teams whose records will most help the 'Cats.  ku counts twice in our RPI, A&M once ... geaux squawks.  <gag> :yuck:
