Evans will walk-on at KSU for 1yr next season, and if Huggssee an all around improvement with Evans, he will be offered a scholly in '08.

I gotta say, that appeals to me.

At this point, I don't think Evans will have legal trouble - just "teammate" problems.  This gives him (another) chance to set things straight without wasting a scholarship - if he pouts/doesn't pass/doesn't work, he'll just push another suit to the second row of the bench.

I can handle that.  And Evans sounds like he wants to play for Huggins enough that he might do it.  He could supplant Moody as the best walk-on ever.

So is the Tyree to Marlyand thing not happening?  I couldn't see him walking on to KSU with a scholarship offer from Maryland.  I'm all for Evans walking on in yr 1.

I find it interesting that  discussion of Evans seems to  continue  even after he has committed to Maryland. Makes me think this might have legs.
