The Tigers are 11-4 but 0-2 in the Big XII with wins over Arkansas and Mississippi State and losses to Purdue, Illinois, Iowa St and Texas.

The Tigers are lead by G Stefhon "I need my mommy to make all of my big decisions for me" Hannah and F's Matt Lawrence and Marshall Brown. Hannah averages 16 points/game and 3 rebounds/game and is also the team's leading assist guy averaging 5 assists/game. Lawrence averages 12 points/game and 4 rebounds/game. Brown averages 10 points and 4 rebounds/game. C Kalen Grimes is the team's leading rebounder averaging 6 boards/game.

It's put up or shut up time for the Cats. I still believe that the Cats are capable of running the table during the rest of the month of January. If we do that we'll be 16-6 (5-2) going into February when we'll have games at Texas, at Kansas, home vs. Kansas and at Oklahoma St. It might be kind of drastic but I'm going to say it.....We have to get these next 6 if we're going to save this season.

I see trailer park trash, hillbillies and pot hole ladened roads.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  This season might be a throw away.  But, I certainly wouldn't mind if we did go 6-0 in our next 6.

Personally, I don't like this mu match up.  Our D will have to be really, really good today, and keep us in the game.  Obviously, we've got to shoot the ball better than we have been, especially from the outside.  The spread on this game is 3, and unfortunately, I think mu covers.

Clent Stewart, David Hoskins, Lance Harris (doesn't it seem like he always plays well vs. Missouri?) and Cartier Martin all had big games for us. We shot FT's very well (86%). We finally rebounded the basketball (especially on the offensive end) but turned the ball over way too much. Especially in the first half. Akeem Wright was a beast on the boards.

He plays well for the hometown crowd? If only he'd do the same at home. I think we had 10 turnovers at the 9 minute mark of the 1st half. That was ugly. It seemed like we were rushing everything, but when we slowed the game down, we made better passes and got great looks that resulted in points.

Since when we last saw the Tigers the Cats are 4-0 (if you don't count the Missouri game) and the Tigers are 2-1 (if you don't count the K-State game). It's the same cast of characters that has been getting it done for Missouri. Not much else I can add to this game except for when I said this.....

As long as we do what we did in Missouri (play physical and rebound) the Cats win this one by 10-15.
