All of the NU boards had no traffic on their basketball board.  Then I found one devoted to just basketball, "Husker Hoops Central".

Good stuff.

Arrive Doc Sadler. A Creighton win and all the sudden we are on the front page of the World Herald. What we are now in the process of is an upgrade. Consider it an upgrade from the original nintendo to something like a playstation 2. Sure there are better systems out there, but at least we look better than we did. The thing with Doc is that this upgrade is not permanent. He is looking to get better not in 5 years, but this year and he expects to win consistently next year.

I loved the heart and the effort the team showed tonight. I hope the one official not trying to be racist by any means but he was flat out bad(did not cost us the game) but some calls just garbage. Mr. Durant you were fun to watch good luck making millions.

Good stuff.  Then you've got blackshirts on kstatefans who has to be the most positive NU basketball fan on the planet.  "Its tough to win on the road, it really doesn't matter that you essentually beat us* in Lincoln 3 straight times."

*stupid foul on Massey :frown:

And in addition, I can see the complaints about our physical play already coming from NU fans.  When we completely take "Doc"'s team out of what they want to do they will be whining bigtime about the refs.

    I survived the Dickey/Parrish era.
I think they are horrified because they really don't know what to expect.  Not that they think that we'll be anything less than man-up, in-your-face the entire night, but they don't know what to expect from their own team.

Their picks thread is so Wooly-esque it isn't even funny with a majority picking Nebrasketball for the win.  Just look at the formula:

Play a bizarre line-up with match-up issues.
Already lost 2 road games, and neither were really close.
Got that "big" win over the worst team in the Big 12 at home.
Got that moral victory/close loss vs one of the top 4 teams in the league.
Logically that means go on the road and beat a team that has won 4 straight, 3 in the league, 2 on the road.

I suppose my optimism was that silly at times the last 10 years though.

Oh boy, they're already building up to the excuse I expected:

I would honestly like to know what has made KSU Thug U of the big 12 already. Outside of the colon incident, KSU has no more thugs than any other team in the conference. ku has more of a case for that honor as of right now.
I also acknowledge that KSU might very well become Thug U, but it sure isnt right now....if we were we'd be 1st in the conference  :dancin:
