Top 10 boys teams Proviso East and Marshall will face off Monday at 2:15 in a highly anticipated matchup. Proviso East is led by Kansas State recruit Jacob Pullen, 6-7 center Tydus Townsend and 6-6 forward Jamal Jones, who could prove to be a major matchup problem for the Commandos.

I think Darryl Cunningham is on an opposing team in one of the games.  I'm not sure if they mention his name, but there is a shot where it's pretty clearly him - if I remember correctly, that is.

He played at St.Joe's and was a McDonald's All-American as well.

In the book version of "Hoop Dreams" the kid that went to St. Joe's relates a story about Darrel breaking a backboard on a dunk and delaying a game 45 minutes.
