Okay, I'm never going to be able to come down on the guy too hard b/c of the free throw he made against ku last year, but almost every time he touched the ball last night he had me laughing.  I seriously think he used about eight different body parts to dribble the ball, including his fingers, palm, wrist, forearm, elbow, and knee.

Why is he sooo bad at handling the ball?  He's pretty darn athletic and has a really nice explosion once he gets close to the hoop that we saw on a couple of dunks last night, but boy...he fights with that ball all the way down the court.

Akeem makes George Hill look like Isiah Thomas

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I think it looks off b/c of his length, but he actually does a pretty decent job handling the ball.  His assist to TO numbers are only behind Young, Stewart, and Maybank.  Last year at times Wooly would even use him to handle the ball in late game situations.

I like Wright, especially when he's efficient on offense, b/c he does so many things.  Leads the team in rebounds, 2nd in blocks, good defender, and adequate ball handler.  Can play 3 positions.  Great role player, a guy you need to have on your team.

I honestly think Wright is the most underrated player on the team.

I think he would be better suited playing the 4 and 5 for this team. He has a big frame with long arms, and is the best rebounder on the team. With the lack of a true 4, I think he could develop into it. I know 6-6 isnt idea height for a PF, but Huggs has had plenty of 6-5/6-6 PFs and has been very successful with them. Id rather see him down there then handling the ball and shooting it on the perimiter.

Wool loved the 6'6" player.  The whole team was based on it.  :violin:

ok, that was funny.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

he has seemed to have regressed from last year in this area.  hopefully its just some kind of wierd phase, he was never this bad before.
