You keep bringing up the ULM game, but ku was much improved at the end of the season. The Jayhawks would wipe the field with MTSU, so go away.

Middle Tennesse Southern State A&M sucks, as far as i am concerned there is only one school in tennessee that should be D1 and that is Tennessee

And if he was a better writer, he wouldn't be stuck at the Murfreesboro paper defending Middle Tennessee State. If they played in a real conference, they wouldn't have won a single game.

Dude, I didn't write that article. A long-time well-respected journalist wrote that article and he's right! You two are just like Lew Perkins--disgruntled babies concerned more about why other teams succeed and less about why Kansas SUCKS!!

You'll always be in the bottom half of the Big 12 North in football. Stick to men's hoops! Because apparently, you're not even good on the women's side anymore evident by you falling to which Sun Belt school?

Vandy's athletic department is a joke...they got rid of their AD a couple of years ago and have some academic in charge...their mission is not to even compete in the SEC...some noble mind and body cause. Regular students have as much priority for rec. games and use of facilities as the school teams....so yes Vandy does not belon in D1.

Im kind of glad we didnt go to a bowl though, this season was a disappointment no doubt, it was unbelievably to sit watching our team blow leads to Ok St. and Baylor. This way Mangino cant hide behind a meaningless bowl game.

If our members were given Big 12 welfare checks from the BC$ every year like Kansas receives simply for being a member, I'm sure we could compete in that bottom half of the Big 12 North.

The sad thing is, the Kansas state goverment and the Big 12 GIVES you your money to fund your athletics and you STILL aren't any good. . . .with the exception of men's basketball. Stick to men's hoops and leave football for those that know how to play it.

Respected by who? MTSU fans? The fact is a team like MTSU should have to win more than 7 games to beat out a 6-6 BCS school for a bowl game. Not faulting the MTS players, they did what needed to be done, but when your wins only come against crap level teams and you cant even come within a mile of any BCS team you played, your team doesnt deserve a bowl over any 6-6 team that has to play in a league with the big boys.

You know why MTSU isn't in a major conference? Because nobody outside of Mrufurueferfesboro cares about it. Nobody outside of the state could probably tell you what MTSU even stands for. You talk smack about our football program, but you barely cracked .500 in the abysmal Sun Belt with a bunch of other teams nobody has ever heard of. I'd rather have a 6-6 record against legitimate Division I competition than 7-5 against the Southern Kentucky Technical Christian Academies of the world.

Do I think ku deserved a bowl this year? No. But neither does a 7-5 Scum Belt team. Take your short man's syndrome somewhere else, because it's become tiresome over here.

Well, let me point this little fact that somehow got misplaced by you guys.

There's a 7-5 Mid-American Conference team that also got invited to a bowl as an at-large bid. I think the only reason why alot of you are @#%$ at Middle Tennessee is simply because of how long we've been in 1-A and what league we play in.

It is so convenient for you to @#%$ about other teams rather than focusing on the REAL problem you face--KANSAS! Try beating the 5-7 Toledo Rockets next time and then maybe we'll talk!
