Rivals still probably cannot come to terms with the fact that they evaluated Chandler as a 2-star out of high school.

Tell Asante whatever he wants to hear, just as long as he commits.  If he says he wants to play QB, tell him he's starting next year.

Why aren't we after Nevin McKenzie?  If I remember right he committed to KSU out of HS and is now a top 50 JC guy.  Especially if we don't get Asante we should be after this guy.  I have seen him play in person and he could play for us.  I saw him vs. Butler last year and he knocked himself out of the game with a big hit.  The game was close until then, then Butler rolled.  We could use a 6-2 (legit) 210 guy at the safety spot.

We don't need another safety, we need another LB. That is where Asante was going to play..

McKenzie is 6-2 210 we could make him an LB.  That is about the same size as Asante and believe me he can hit.
