I just started watching the UT game again (the first time I've seen the video) and I'm to the point where they "scored" their first TD.

1. It doesn't look like he made it in to me and
2. It's pretty clear that something is up when the announcer says "he didn't get in" and then when the signal is made that he "made it" says "oh yeah he's in".

Also, I saw the comments that they made from the studio about our chances of winning the game before the game. When I heard that they laughed when posed the question I figured it was a chuckle. No.....They LOL!  :bs:

I'm no journalist but that's embarassing and unprofessional if I'm an ABC exec.  :jerkoff:

The guy that made the signal could not see the ball, that is what made it such crap.

I just saw Yamon Figurs' catch that "wasn't a catch" to which the announcer said "boy that was close". No it wasn't. He was in by the length of the hashmark for God sakes.  :poundon:

The problem there wasn't whether he was in or not, it was the possession of the ball. He didn't have great control of it, got hit, and the ball came loose. I don't think that one was horrible. We had a 2nd and 9 later where we completed a pass to Yamon for a first down and it's pretty damn obvious that it hit the ground. It wasn't reviewed. Bad calls happen.

I'm not sure but I think on the fake punt the intended receiver fell down.

I went back after I posted that and watched it again and you might be right. I just have a hard time admitting when I'm wrong I guess. Ok.....They may have gotten one call right that night.  :ku:

I believe JF did have possession in bound but the ball was knocked out of his hands by ut on the way down. Should have been a catch.

McCoy's TD: You are correct, the official that called it not only couldn't see the ball through the mass of players, he couldn't have seen it through the umpires shoulder that he was standing behind.  The ball was down by McCoy's stomach, which came nowhere near the line.  I do however believe that Young was in on the 1st down, but I'll take the tradeoff of a brilliant goalline stand and an injured star QB for that.

I don't believe Jordy had the 1st down at the end, but it was kind of moot as ut would have had 9-12 seconds to go for a hail mary or 30 yds just to have an attempt at a 55 yd FG into a brisk wind.

Meier certainly got his first down.

YF was hurt on McKinney's muffed kick return.  Took a helmet-to-helmet shot but walked off the field. Missing him and JF for a series.

There were so many huge plays of d-backs barely tipping passes or ut WR's just flat out dropping wide open shots--reminds me of Mike Williams in the USC game in Manhattan.

No one has an answer for Ian Campbell.  He should be 1st team all big 12, All-American, and post-season award winner.

God bless Jeff Snodgrass.

We were so loose and hitting like freight trains all night it was unreal.  Somehow our smaller, faster team out physicalled these guys.

I loved the chant the team was doing in the celebration after the game.  I had to listen twice just to be sure I heard right.  "ku, ku, ku!"  Prince will have these boys ready. This team will have themselves ready.  This is a buzzsaw coming into lowrents.

I've watched it several times, and I think he actually did pick it up. The ball hit before his knees did, and the ball was beyond the marker. It was damn close though.

It was close, but we deserved a good spot call for once in that game anyway.  And no better time.

There is a good angle on the highlight reel on the official site of Jordy putting his hand down and his knees not touching till the ball was at or beyond the marker.  Good spot, it wouldn't have surprised me if they didn't give it to him though.

I would've given us about a 4% chance of getting a good spot at that point, especially right near Tejas' sideline.
